THE LAST DAY OF DANCE IS WEDNESDAY - JUNE 24th
The studio is CLOSED Thursday, 6/25, and Friday, 6/26.
Make sure you purchased all needed tickets, have the correct tights and shoes for the show and practiced a bun!
Tights and Shoes:
Pre K I - white tights, white ballet slippers
Pre K II - white tights, white ballet slippers
K-Combo - tan tights, black tap shoes
Jazz - tan tights, tan jazz shoes
Tap - tan tights, black tap shoes
Ballet - pink tights, pink ballet slippers
Lyrical - tan tights, tan lyrical shoes
Modern - tan tights, no shoes
Pointe - pink tights, pink pointe shoes
Hip Hop - tan tights, black hip hop sneakers

Show 1 - Saturday - June 27 3:30pm
Show 2 - Saturday - June 27 6:30pm
Show 3 - Sunday - June 28 12:00pm

Dancers should come backstage 30 minutes before show time.
Auditorium doors for the audience open 30 minutes before show time.
Dancers should come fully dressed in tights, dance shoes, hair in a bun and make up before coming back stage.
Only dancers who perform in more than one number (have more than one costume) should bring a dance bag.
Do NOT bring anything with you backstage - no toys, change of shoes, water bottles,
clothing, cell phones, food, etc.
Dancers should NOT wear temporary tattoos, dark colored nail polish, jewelry (stud earrings are acceptable), NO HAIR ACCESSORIES.
Dancers in Pre K I, Pre K II and K-Combo will be dismissed to their parent/guardian off the front of the stage after the finale, do not leave the auditorium.
We ask that only one family member come to pick up their child to not make the area overly congested.
Only staff members and dancers are permitted backstage.
Dancers in 1st grade and up that dance in more than one number: if you take ballet you should put on your tan tights first no matter what. If ballet is your first dance you should put your pink tights over your tan tights (you will come to the recital wearing two pairs of tights if ballet is your first dance in the show).
Dancers in more than one number MUST wear a tan leotard.
Dancers in more than one dance should double check that all their costumes, tights and shoes are labeled with their name. They should bring their dance bag with all their shoes in it, all the costumes that they need for their show (on hangers), the extra hanger for the costume they are currently wearing and their checklist paper which we distributed at dance (neon colored paper - shows the order of the show).

Welcome to Just for Kicks School of Dance!
Our studio has been part of the Island Park community for over 35 years!
Our classes create well-rounded dancers, with poise, confidence, discipline, and of course
physical strength and endurance.
Our talented staff provides a diverse range of dance training.
At Just for Kicks we strive to make learning fun by offering creativity and positivity - leaving students with an enriched sense of self, therefore, allowing students to take great pride in their work.
We hope that this will be the beginning of an enjoyable dance experience for you and your family!
Our state of the art studio features sprung flooring to create a safer dance environment. Each room features full length mirrors as well as a wall barre system.
We offer classes for students ages 2 and up. All classes are separation classes.
Parents and guardians may enjoy the amenities of the shopping center which features:
Treasure Lane, Sangria 71, Liquor and Wine Warehouse, Top Line Nails and King Kullen.
We currently offer classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop
and Combo Classes (Combo Classes are for ages 5 and under).
Our classes run September through June and we feature a recital each year at the end of June.
We also offer classes during the summer!
